Hirexly ("we", "our", "us") is a platform that allows recruiters to review short video applications and shortlist candidates faster.

2. What data we collect

• Account data — name, email, company, role.
• Candidate data — video applications, profile info, notes, feedback.
• Recruiter activity — likes, passes, shortlist actions.
• Technical data — IP address, browser/device info, logs, cookies.
• Billing and subscription details (processed by our payment provider).

3. How we use your data

• To provide and improve our service.
• To communicate about your account or waitlist status.
• To ensure security and prevent misuse.
• To comply with legal and billing obligations.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

• Contract performance — providing the Hirexly service.
• Consent — waitlist and marketing communication.
• Legitimate interests — analytics, product improvement, security.
• Legal obligation — invoicing, compliance, and audit records.

5. Retention

Candidate videos are deleted after [X months] or upon request. Account and billing data are stored as legally required.

6. Data sharing

We share data only with processors who help us deliver our service (hosting, email, payment, analytics). We do not sell personal data.

7. International transfers

Data may be processed outside your country. We use standard contractual clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards where necessary.

8. Security

Videos are stored privately and delivered via time-limited links. All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS.

9. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your data, and withdraw consent at any time by emailing privacy@hirexly.com.

We may update this Notice. The updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
